My password reset and can't reach anyone

Absolutely useless! I am totally stuck. My site is still up, but I can't change it as my password no longer works. The phone number is no longer in service and nobody answers email.

eHostSource - Web Hosting Review

The absolute worst experience ever! Support is Non Existent. Cant reach them during Normal business hours only after 10pm. Hold time is an Average of 20 min or longer. No one there in support team is helpful. after over 30 attempts to resolve not recieving email issue. finally talked to one lady who had some knowledge of the situation. i was so excited to finally talk to her. Unbelievable what happened next. She created a ticket to help me with DNS settings and MX Entry and never followed up. So i changed everything back to original CNAMES etc in zone editor Cpanel because the work around of pointing emails to other hosting servers still wouldnt work with Wordpress site. Finally got emails working and 2 weeks later they decide to rechange my dns settings again because the lost ticket they had created must have been found and one day my emails suddenly stopped working. WACK. this is the last straw... i am switching hosting providers. This company should be investigated and shutdown. on top of this they over charged me... dont have energy left to post full complaint. Ehost has drained all of it out of me with their lack of understanding, comprehension, management and endless hold times...RUN FAR AWAY and never look back. This company wont be around much longer. NEXT!!!!

DO NOT TRUST EHOST

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

That company is quite fraudulent, dishonest and theiving. I purchased four different packages with them. I cancelled two of those packages after I had some issues when the company (ehost).

I currently hose 3 websites with them. Two of those sites were for my business and the other is for a friend. This month, I decided to run one of those sites using another service provider and cancel one of the packages I had with ehost.com and opting to only leave 1 of my sites running with them, and my friends. The two sites left running are sites which were paid for on an annual basis, so the bills are all paid up for the year. The site which I ran on a month to month basis, was a site called mytsmc which was connected to a domain www.MY SITENAME.com, also purchased from ehost.com - I deleted that account (mySITENAME) as this was the site I no longer needed.

The next day, I logged onto ehost, only to realise that instead of accepting that I deleted the service to mytsmc.com before the billing date. They placed a charge, that would have occured from October 28 or 29 to November 29 and applied it to one of my annual plans which I had existing on the account. They disabled my annual plan, I currently have no access to it and they are holding my domains at ransome. I have tried repeatedly to get redress in this situation but I have since failed. The support team, sent emails referring to 13.98 US that I owe, however, I don't owe any money and they have held captive my domain which I paid for already and I paid much more than 13.98 for an annual plan.

I paid at the start of Jun, the start of Jul, Aug, Sep and October for the services. The service always runs from the beginning of the month. So how then, do I owe 13.98 for a service whose fees are always applied before and not retroactively.

EVery month, ehost has tried to extract extra money from my credit card. They applied services which I did not request. They promised refunds which they never gave and it has just been issue after issue after issue with them.

I have also looked into some online reviews of persons after I started having problems and it turns out that I am not the only person who has had these things happened.

I was duped into a new domain while browsing names. Next thing I know, I get an email saying I've purchased one of the domain names I plugged in to check. Little did I know, they kept my bank card on file WITHOUT CONSENT! I immediately sent an email saying I would overdraft if this went through. The reply I was sent said the domain name had not been activated but if I wanted to sign up, I could buy the 1-3yr plans. My bank account had a pending transaction so I emailed again to make sure they were not charging me. The reply I was sent said they couldn't find my account.. even though I replied to the original email that had all of my information! The charge wet through an I was fined $37 by my bank. After going through 4 different "customer service reps", three of whom could not understand what my issue was... or they just pretended not to, they wouldn't refund anything. They lied multiple times, charged me without consent and I still have NO IDEA what it is I even "purchased" These people are snakes and scam artists!! It is not the first time they have done this and I'm sure its not the last!

I have noticed that ehostsource have started to take the annual payment due monthly over the past few months. I can never get hold of anyone on the telephone number, they are busy and on being diverted to voicemail I am unable to leave a message as the mailbox is full.

I have emailed the company but they have failed to reply.

The service is regularly down and I frequently have to use an alternative email account to send or receive mail. The mail servers are often down for a week or more with no explanation and no ability to contact anyone at the company for an explanation or update.

Fraudulent company - never deal with them!

I am reading the other posts and, unfortunately, I find all the features of my own little tragedy with this company. In the beginning they were polite and responsive, let me build my beautiful site, then they blocked it for no reason, demanding that I pay more money which I did (yes, yes, I know) and then they stopped responding to emails or other attempts to contact them. The site is still blocked, all my time and money lost. I will have to register a new domain. One small unpleasant detail - after I registered my account with them, I received several calls to my personal phone from people with strong accent demanding that I purchase their web design services. When I explained to them I didn't have the money to, they called me *** and other nice words. I also received lots of scam to my personal email since I registered with them. The customer support is nonexistent. Their only goal is to make you pay as much as you can and then stop dealing with you. Personal information sent to them is, obviously, not safe, too. They have to be taken to the attention of the authorities!

I used ehostsource.com to host my small web site for several years, but a few months ago, when I needed to contact them to make a change, I found it impossible. They did not return my email and their voice mailbox was full. I asked the credit card company to remove the charge for the annual fee of $69. Now I have another such charge. Their voice mailbox is full and ehostsource.com is down. I am sending email and postal mail, asking them to cancel the account. It seems like they've skipped town and are hoping the automated payments will keep rolling in as long as they can get away with it. I will switch to a better known provider of low cost hosting services.

EHostSource is the WORST!!!!!! Please don't get fooled by them!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have been with eHostSource for a number of years and was satisfied at first, but now things have gone terribly wrong. About a year ago, my site was down for over a week. I called and emailed them numerous times and still never got a response. What I did get, however, was double billed. Again, they never responded to my calls or emails and I finally had to call my credit card company to get the over-billed amount refunded. Now, I have spent the past two weeks trying to get them to release my domain for transfer and even though I was assured that it would be completed, it is still not done and of course, they are not responding to either calls of emails. This company is the worst. They provide NO customer service. And they hold your domain hostage! Please do not be fooled by them like I was. Please learn from my mistake before getting involved with them.

EHOST TRIED TO SCAM ME

Went though similar issue. Kept getting late payment warnings, when I called support she assured me that it was a random email with no meaning.

Site went offline. I called and an employee stated that I was caught up, but the system is denying this truth and the only thing to do is pay $13.00, although the bill is $9.00.

There's no one else I could talk to, there's nothing he could do, he doesn't know anything, I didn't think I was dealing with an American company. The most disappointing part of all this is that, the site never worked correctly to begin with. An employee just submitted a ticket after weeks of complaining.

The ticket never got resolved, I didn't even get a response and its been longer than 48 hours. There's been a stream of emails recording all my issues with the site....so records of my issues are very accessible.

I offered to send my debit card's transaction report. The employee said that it wouldn't do any good without paying another $13.00 to be able to access my website while he submits another ticket.....NEVER CHOOSE EHOST.

Ehostsource Account Review from Atlanta, Georgia

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Despite cancelling my order only two days after starting the free trial, this company simply refused to stop charging my account. Since November 2015, they attempted to charge my paypal every month. Finally in February 2016 they were successful. This is after I cancelled the free trial back in November, and contacted them in Dec and Jan when I noticed their attempts. Each time they said my trial was canceled and that I would not be charged. Now that they've finally illegally charged my paypal, they still refuse to issue a refund. I even disputed it on PayPal, and they said that I started a contract in February of 2016. How is that possible, when I cancelled in November 2015 during the free trial? This company appears to be a fraud. Buyer beware. Contact me before you think about signing up for eHost.

THE WORST HOST EVER!!!!!!!! DONT EVEN GO NEAR THEM!

they cancelled my account after taking payment and receiving verification documents.

They told me its cancelled after asking for a bank statement which i couldnt provide that day due to a public holiday where banks are closed, the *** at the call center didnt understand that.

Now they have stolen my money which was deducted from my account and they are saying that they refunded it, in which they didnt. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, THEY ARE AS BAD AS iPage.

Guest

Problems for me also. I used the site for a couple of months, confusing as it was.

Now, I can't cancel. I have communicated with these bozos at least 12 times via email and also their onsite chat, telling them to cancel my account and not to charge my credit card any more. Every month, they charge my card. I now have to cancel my card and apply for another one.

These people totally ignore my request to cancel. I get emails from them saying that if I ever had an issue with them please respond to their email and let them know. I have done this too many times to count and they still charge my card every month.

DON'T ever use these guys for your hosting. You will be sorry.

Guest

***. Were unable to get my site up.

Period. After the 3rd call I bailed and went elsewhere. They still owe me a refund and refuse to pay. BEWARE.

I would bet high that most of the reviews are phony. They blame the problems on the browser or other client issue to cover the fact they are incompetent.

And then they stiff you and make you file complaints and card contests to get your money. They can keep mine, I'm going to let the world know what they really are.

Ehost Source deleted my 10 year Emailing list + back end

Facts: Ehost Source deleted my 10 year Emailing list + custom built back end. When I discovered this I naturally called & emailed them about this. They said they would look into it. They never got back to me except to bill me. I refused to pay till I found out where my hard earned mailing list was? They again said they would get back to but never did. They continued to ask me for money & I continued to ask them where my mailing list & back end had gone. Instead of helping me or confessing a mistake they put a sign up on my webpage that my account was suspended due to non payment. I had been with them for more than 10 years, this is how I was treated adding insult to injury. One word for them, C@*#S!

EHostSource.com hosting provided terrible web hosting then refused to refund years pre-payment.

I signed up with Ehostsource.com to host my business website and email addresses. The company charges a yearly web site hosting fee which I paid. They claim that the websites that they host are up 99.9% of the time. After just a 2 months, my website and email went down for several days. When I called to report the problem, they got nasty. They couldn't fix the issue and gave me a laundry list of excuses. They claimed that they sent me emails to let me know that my email and website were down (?where is the logic in that?). When I called and cancelled, the billing woman (Debrah Odom) was nasty and they refused to refund me the remainder of my prepayment. I would NEVER use them again. There are many, many other better companies out there.
